Every morning, long before the city fully awakened, Hajia Rizqa Temitope Mutiu (Umuh Mutmainah) was already at work. Through relentless effort, honesty, and years of quiet sacrifice, she built a business that was the beating heart of her family and a fixture in our Ijebu community. She wasn't just running a store; she was building a future, serving her neighbors with a warm smile, and proving every day what honest dedication looks like.
Then, in a single horrific moment, the unimaginable happened. A sudden, devastating fire swept through her store, consuming everything in its path. In minutes, 14 million Naira worth of carefully built inventory, equipment, and years of hard labor were reduced to black ashes. Standing before the charred remains of her life’s work, everything she had poured her heart into was gone.
While fire can destroy physical goods, shelves, and walls, it can never consume the strength of her character or the resilience of our community.
No one should have to face the ruins of their life’s work alone. The fire took her store, but together, we can give her back her livelihood.
Every single donation, whether ₦1,000, ₦10,000, or more, is a physical brick toward reopening her doors, restocking her shelves, and showing that love and community will always be stronger than disaster. Let us stand by her side and turn this tragic chapter into a story of triumph.
We are coming together as one community to help her rise from the ashes. Every Naira brings her one step closer to restocking her shelves and reopening her doors.
Target Goal: ₦15,000,000
Join us in rebuilding her dream. Please donate and share.
