URGENT APPEAL FOR OUR ISLAMIC MADRASAH

Our rent at our present location was suddenly increased to ₦2 million annually. The landlady informed us of the increment six months before our contract expired.

We already had land secured, so we decided to build our own place instead of continuously paying such high rent. With ₦10 million in mind, we hoped that we would at least be able to complete the first floor to start with.

But we only started, and we have now spent over ₦13 million, yet the first floor is still not ready for use.

Now, we have just two weeks left before we have to move out. We have already started the term with the hope of paying ₦500,000 for three months, which would have given us more time to hustle and complete our building. Unfortunately, the owner refused. It has to be a one-year rent, or we have to move out on 14th October 2026.

Now, we do not have the ₦2 million rent, and our own place is not ready for use.

We are soliciting for help urgently because we never expected to find ourselves in this situation. Our parents are concerned, and they have raised their voices.

We do not want to disappoint our students, staff and the community.

All we need to make the place ready for use now is ₦5 million. As of yesterday, 5th October 2026, we have only managed to deck half of the building.

The ₦5 million we are soliciting for will only make the Madrasah usable; it will not complete the entire work.

At least, let us save the years of investment we have made, which are now at risk of being lost.
